Trust Leather Pelham
The Trust Leather Pelham features a reinforced flexible nylon core enveloped by naturally tanned leather on the mouthpiece, which promotes salivation in the mouth. This process allows the bit to soften in the horse’s mouth, making it gentle and flexible.
This bit is particularly well-suited for horses with sensitive mouths due to its construction from reinforced nylon at its core and chemical-free, naturally tanned leather stitched around it. The bit is not only safe for horses but also for humans. Saliva production softens the leather, enhancing comfort in the horse’s mouth.
The combination of a soft, flexible mouthpiece and the flavor of the leather renders this bit ideal for horses that are sensitive in the mouth.
The Trust Leather Pelham is designed with attachments for two reins: one near the mouthpiece and another at the end of the shank. Its long shanks prevent lateral movement through the mouth, serving as a guide and effectively aiding in steering the horse’s head.
