Trust Leather Dee Ring
The leather bits in the Trust equestrian collection are quite striking. They feature a core made of reinforced nylon, which is encased in naturally tanned, chemical-free leather. This leather softens with the horse’s saliva, making the bit more comfortable. The round construction and the suppleness of the leather mouthpiece are distinctive. Its flexibility, coupled with the appealing taste of the leather, renders the bit especially suitable for horses with sensitive mouths. Additionally, it has been observed that mares are fond of the leather’s taste, leading to better acceptance of the bit.
The D-Rings are designed to prevent the bit from being pulled through the horse’s mouth, ensuring it rests steadily on the tongue. This design applies gentle, pivotal pressure on the tongue, allowing for light and precise rein aids. Additionally, the fixed rings offer a more direct control compared to a loose ring snaffle.
Tip: Regularly apply olive oil to the leather bit to maintain its flexibility.
Attention: Ensure that the stitching faces outward, towards the mouth’s opening.
