Trust Inno Sense Pelham Port Medium
The Trust Inno Sense Pelham Port Medium has a shaped mouth piece to relieve pressure on the horses tongue. Made with a synthetic material, approved by the FDA, we find that many young horses prefer the Inno Sense material over a metal mouth piece.
Please note that no plasticizers have been used in and the material and it is totally animal friendly.
To be clear the action of the Pelham is as such that it works on several parts of your horse’s head, depending on which rein is applied. The mouthpiece acts when either the snaffle or curb rein is applied and puts pressure on the bars, tongue, and lips of the horse (Reference Wikipedia).
The pelham can be used with two or one set of reins. If you are using one set of reins you will need to purchase a set of pelham roundings found here.
