The Tendon Grip Gel Sock, crafted from a nylon sleeve and coated with premium mineral oil, moisturizes and shields the skin. It offers protection from injuries caused by friction, irritation, and aids in other injury treatments.
Additionally, it is effective for treating hypertrophic and keloid scars. This product is perfect for horses with sensitive hoof bulbs and pasterns, especially when wearing overreach boots. For optimal use, place the Tendon Grip Gel beneath the overreach boots and secure it to the hoof with quality tape.
We recommend using Tesa Tape to keep the sock secure around the hoof. The Tendon Grip Gel Sock is washable with mild soap and should be air-dried. After drying, a light dusting of talcum powder on the gel is suggested.
Acting as a second skin that supports tendons, it guards against rubs from boots, bacteria, fungus, and dirt. It’s an ideal treatment for hypertrophic and keloid scars, perfect for horses with sensitive areas, and is easy, safe, and quick to apply. Moreover, it is washable and reusable.
