Bombers Bits Full Cheek Control Plate
The Bombers Bits Full Cheek Control Plate is set at 45° degree angle. This allows the bit to follow the contour of the horses tongue. A horse which uses his tongue as a means of pushing against the bit to take control. As a result the horse will pull back and tuck his chin in, giving a better point of control.
The Bombers range of Fulmer or Full Cheek piece, will have the same effect as the traditional Eggbutt in so much as, it will prevent pinching on the sides of the mouth. However the extended pins above and below the bit, firstly prevent the bit being pulled through the mouth and secondly have the effect of guiding the horses head which is great for schooling and training purposes.
All our bits are made from blue sweet iron, because it:
•oxidises easily
•encourages salivation
•helps bit acceptance
•is warm and sweet
